lyrics
So it turns out, life isn't what i expected. We'll never burn out, were staying young for forever. & if you trust me i can show you things you've never seen. Open up & let you all see right inside of me. I've got this pressure building way down deep inside. It's like a virus spreading all throughout my mind. I need to find a way to figure it out, figure it out, before i fade away.
My mind is racing today, I'm tripping over all my thoughts. I need to get a grip on my life. I thought I had it figured out, its just so hard to get it right. But still the world keeps spinning on. I try (i try) maybe the next step is the hardest part. I try (i try) or maybe I've just been drowning from the start.
How much longer till I admit defeat. How much longer till I can catch my breath & speak. Im losing touch with reality. (ah ah)
Im losing touch with reality.
So it turns out, life isn't what I expected. I'll never give up, I worked too hard to get this. But in the end all I have is staring back at me, threatening to turn around, walk away, & leave. Maybe the next step is the hardest part. & I regret, not believing in myself but its hard to do, when you're drowning in the space that surrounds you.
How much longer till I admit defeat. How much longer till I can catch my breath & speak. Im losing touch with reality. (ah ah) & when its falling to the ground, I can't help but look around, to see if something can be found. This problem that I started, I can see, its me, I'm failing now. You buried me & i can see, & thats why this happened.
& the world, keeps spinning on!
Im losing touch with reality. How much longer till I can catch my breath & speak.
& when its falling to the ground, I can't help but look around, to see if something can be found. This problem that I started, I can see, its me, I'm failing now. You buried me & i can see, & thats why this happened.
